Hugh has over 40 years of experience selling, coaching highly effective salespeople, and motivating business audiences across North America. He has represented companies in the financial services, advertising, fitness, construction, and food industries. Besides being a remarkably  effective salesman, Hugh has also served as a sales manager and trainer for a number of the companies.

Hugh is an accomplished author, speaker, and coach. He teaches salespeople and business owners to become highly effective at selling by using the new sales model: building relationships with people, becoming partners in solving their prospects’ problems, and helping their prospects get what they want. The people Hugh coaches dramatically increase their percentage of prospects who become clients, customers, or patients. He is the author of Selling For Fun and Profit – Take the ‘Icky’ and ‘Scary’ Out of Sales.

Hugh resides in Sebring, Florida, with his wife Priscilla, Mooch the Cat, and Snappy the Alligator. He has six children and 12 grandchildren.

Preston was also employed by a large marketing agency as their Search Engine Optimization specialist and later started their online link building and social media marketing division while managing over 30 large sites like Cars Direct, Core Power Yoga, Rocky Mtn Health Plans, Dish Network, Associated Content and more. So, not only has he studied and mastered the concepts and strategies he teaches, he’s also been in the trenches actually doing this and applying what he learns.

Preston has completed the Red Cap advanced selling for professionals private coaching program with Hugh and after mastering the 8 step Red Cap system partnered as their lead coach and now manages coaching for the Western part of the US.
